We’ve all been blessed with gifts and talents. We know that our gifts are different, and we know that our gifts are to be used to glorify God and edify His people. Are you dependable in serving our Lord? Can God count on you to be faithful in your desire to serve? Can you be trusted in doing the work He has asked you to do? If you are dependable, you can be used by God at any given moment, in any place, at any time, according to His purpose.
The Lord Jesus displayed what it means to be dependable, He said "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends" (John 15:13). You can trust and depend solely on Him just as He depended solely on God.
A special ability from God is given to the one who depends totally on Him because our dependability is directly related to our dependence on God’s ability. Are you really living like Christ? Are you dependable? Dependability is a must for the Christian in all areas of life. Remain steadfast and unmovable, the Lord is counting on you.
