THE OVERSEER

"Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;" Hebrews 12:15 KJV

One of the most powerful verses in the New Testament is Hebrews 12:15. I want you to especially notice the words “looking diligently” in this verse. This phrase comes from the Greek word "episkopos", taken from the two words "epi" and "skopos". The word epi means "over", and the word skopos means "to look". When these two words are compounded into one word as in Hebrews 12:15, the word means "to look over or to take supervisory oversight".

You are the overseer of your own heart and as the overseer, it is your responsibility to look over, guide, direct, and give oversight to what goes on inside your emotions and thinking. You alone are responsible for what you allow to develop inside your head and heart. Like an overseer, you are personally responsible for both the good and the bad that occurs within your thought life.

The text verse says, “Looking diligently.…” It takes diligence to keep your heart in good shape. The only way you can stay free of the weeds the devil wants to sow in your “garden” is to be attentive, careful, thorough, and meticulous about the condition of your own heart. Don’t let anything and everything get in you; and also don't expect others to take care of your heart for you either. It’s your heart.

Further Scripture Study: Proverbs 4:23

Declare This: Heavenly Father, I deal diligently with my heart to keep it in good shape. I don’t make excuses for whatever I allow in my heart because I am the overseer of my own heart. I refuse to let wrong attitudes fester or take root in me in Jesus name Amen.

CHARMING LOVE

"Jesus said, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 KJV

This verse is so powerful that when you catch the revelation it carries, you will be forever grateful for what God did. The verse has been called "the gospel in a nutshell" and also "a love letter from God" written in blood and addressed to all. If ever there was a verse that Satan would love to blot out of the Bible, it would be John 3:16. This is a verse that makes hell to tremble, it lightened the path to heaven for multitudes and brought beauty to all of mankind.

God’s love is not merely some abstract concept. It isn’t just a philosophy or a theological construct. God’s love was made manifest in this world through the person of Jesus Christ the only Son of the Father. Jesus Christ came into this world to reveal to us the love of God in human form. Because God loved us, He gave us His Only Begotten Son. This is what I call relationship, His Love is so personable and presentably charming.

It is our job as Christians and God’s ambassadors to spread this love to the world. God’s love is charming because it was made manifest through a person "Jesus Christ" and on the other hand, because it is bestowed on a person "you".

Further Scripture Study: Deuteronomy 7:7-8

Declare This: Dear Precious God, I thank You for sending Your Son Jesus Christ to die for me. I am wholeheartedly grateful for this charming love You have bestowed on me. I carry it everywhere and ensure this love will not be forgotten in Jesus name Amen.

THE PATH FOR YOUR LIFE

“You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore. John 16:11 AMP

Every road will have it’s twists and turns. Every path has it’s unseen dangers and unexpected surprises. Each course once initiated will bring the traveler to it’s ultimate destination. David from the verse above acknowledges that God is the One to show him the path of life. In other words, the path that David followed in the journey of his life was the path God gave to him.

There is an old saying that says, "All roads lead to Rome" and some have mistakenly thought that this principle also applies to Spiritual destinations. They have mistakenly thought that "all paths lead to God." But this is not what the scriptures teach. The scripture clearly teaches that the way to God is singular, that the pathway of life and righteousness is but one. He said "I am the way, the truth and the life, no man comes to the father but through me (John 14:6) and in John 10:9; He said "I am the door, if any man enters through Me he shall be saved…" God clearly offers us the right pathway of life to follow through His Son Jesus Christ and you cannot begin the journey if you do not know Christ. He wants to direct and guide the course of your Life.

God’s Word is His Divine Will for our lives. His Word will make Known the Path for your life. When you know the right path for your life, you will continually have joy to the full and eternal pleasures forevermore.

Further Scripture Study: Psalms 119:105; Proverbs 14:12 & 16:25

Declare This: Precious God, I choose the right path and direction You want for me. I will not go in the path that seem right but rather follow the perfect direction for me in Jesus name Amen.

LIMITLESS GOD

“How often they provoked Him in the wilderness, And grieved Him in the desert! Yes, again and again they tempted God, And limited the Holy One of Israel. They did not remember His power: The day when He redeemed them from the enemy.” Psalms 78:40-42 NIV.

Ask a man in a wheelchair to climb three flights of stairs and he will say, “I can’t"; Why can’t he perform the task; the reason is because he is limited in what he can do. I didn’t say he is useless by no means, but he is limited in certain areas of what ability he has. You see while each of us are limited in some form or another because we are human, there are absolutely no limits to what God can do.

Do you know its possible to limit God in your life? Why do we place limits on God? Why do we run out and measure what God can do and what He can’t do in our lives? A lot of people have placed limits on Him but God is not limited by anything because He is before the creation of the world, He created the world and He is the end of it all. When you understand the power of God and His abilities, you will never place limits on the Limitless, Endless, Immeasurable, Incomprehensible, Inexhaustible and Unlimited God. When He does His thing, He doesn't need to do it according to your plansGod has no limits and if He made you in His image and likeness, then you are limitless too. Do it God's way, don't ever place a limit on God.

Further Scripture Study: Matthew 17:20; Numbers 13:25-33

Prayer Guide
Dear Father, thank You for Your ability in me. You are the limitless God and You made me limitless too. I refuse to place any kind of limits on You because You are Unlimited in Jesus name Amen.

YOU ARE A PARTAKER

"Giving thanks unto the Father, who made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light." Colossians 1:12 ASV

What a marvelous statement. This verse is rich with encouraging information for the believer in Christ. Reading our text scripture, it didn't say you are going to be a partaker, no! It says you are already a partaker. God wants you to know that you are already a "Part" and a "Taker" of the inheritance. Other translations of the Bible puts it that you are a participator, a sharer, a partner and a party to the inheritance. You are a member in the house and not a stranger or visitor in our kingdom.

Don't look at yourself as a nobody, no! no!! you are a son and daughter in the house. A joint heir with Him and a child of the Most High God. In Philippians 1:7 KJV, Paul says ...we are all partakers of my grace. Note it didn't say partakers of disgrace, animosity, hatred or bitterness, but of the Grace of God resident in him. This means you carry a special grace in you that gives you the ability to win your world for Jesus at all times.

This grace connects you with the exceeding great and precious promises of the kingdom and makes you a partaker of the divine nature of God; not partakers of the distractions of the world (2 Peter 1:4) KJV.

Further Scripture Study: 1 Peter 4:13

Declare This: Dear Father, I sincerely thank You for showing and giving me all that pertains to me. I am a partaker now and always in Jesus name Amen.

PURVEYOR OF THE GOSPEL

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. Romans 1:16 NIV

Apostle Paul says, "I am not ashamed"; why did he make the statement that he's not ashamed of the gospel unless he probably had been tempted to feel ashamed of it? He knew that the message of the cross was "foolishness" to some and "a stumbling block" to others (1 Corinthians 1:18, 23).

Whatever Paul had in mind when he wrote those words, he gives a powerful reason for his being eager to spread the gospel. "I am not ashamed" he stated, "because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes." Paul’s words are clear and comprehensive. The need for salvation tells us of a serious, life-threatening situation because of the sinfulness of mankind. It is the power of God and we saw this power in the miracle of Christ’s birth; in His sinless life; His ministry of bringing hope to the outcasts of society, but most of all the evidence of "the power of God" is seen in His death, resurrection and ascension.

Don't be ashamed of the Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ; If you are not ashamed of who God has made you to be, then you shouldn't be ashamed of proclaiming and announcing what makes God happy - His Word. Be a purveyor of the Gospel.

Further Scripture Study: 2 Corinthians 5:19; 1 Corinthians 2:3

Declare This: Dear Lord, I am not ashamed of the Gospel. I am a carrier of the Good News and I display it everywhere I go in Jesus name Amen.

STOP MURMURING

So all the congregation lifted up their voices and cried, and the people wept that night. And all the children of Israel complained against Moses and Aaron, and the whole congregation said to them...." Numbers 14:1-3 NIV

The Israelites murmured against their gracious and loving God. Needless to say, their murmurings displeased Him. Sadly, many Christians are murmurers and grumblers. At home, on the job and even in the church; they grumble, murmur and complain. They see nothing good, to them everything is bad, their life is miserable and they want to make it that way for everyone else.

To murmur means to grumble, whine and complain in a low tone. There are those who murmur and complain silently; I can't afford buying that stuff I used to buy, I need to cut down on some necessary stuff, this job is killing me etc. When you murmur with such a mindset, you will begin to loose everything around you (be it living or non-living). Everything will start murmuring and complaining. Murmuring is a spirit, when it steps into your arena, before you know it - the murmuring spirit begins to affect things around you. Sadly, murmuring is one of the most prevalent with Christians. The more you murmur, the more you become discontent and discontent causes dis-trust. Reject murmuring and be content in life.

Further Scripture Study: Philippians 2:14-15; Philippians 2:4

Declare This: Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Word has come alive in my spirit. I refuse to murmur or grumble going forward because I am Your child in Jesus name Amen.

NON-JUDGMENTAL LOVE

“But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.” ‭‭Ephesians ‭2:4-5‬ ‭NIV‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

God’s goal in sending His Son from heaven to earth was not to condemn you, or show you how bad you are, how unworthy you are or how hopeless you are. God’s only desire in sending His Son was to show you His love and draw you into a love relationship with Himself. Jesus didn’t come into the world in order to rebuke you, He came to rescue you. He didn’t come to criticize you, He came to cleanse you. He didn’t come to punish you, He came to pardon you. He didn’t come to destroy you, He came to deliver you.

However this does not mean that God is not a God of judgment. For there is a huge difference between recognizing right and wrong and being judgmental. There is a difference between judging the unrepentant sinner and being judgmental. Being judgmental means having a critical spirit that only looks for the bad in people and then quick to condemn.

God on the other hand will judge us for our sins, only if we refuse to accept His offer of Salvation and forgiveness. So never go around looking for the fault in others so you can judge or condemn them, remember that God is loving and He wants all His Children to do right and follow Him alone.

Further Scripture Study: James 4:12

Declare This: Just like You Father, I refuse to be judgmental on others, but instead I express genuine love, love that will make others see Your love shine through me in Jesus name Amen.

HOLD TO INSTRUCTION

"Hold on to instruction, do not let it go; guard it well, for it is your life. Proverbs 4:13 NIV

What does it mean to hold on to instruction? It means to comply with or follow the commands or wishes, to submit or conform in action to (some guiding principle, impulse, one's conscience, etc.), It also means to put yourself under the authority of another and to agree to obey."

After you've given your life to Christ, you start receiving guidance from the Word through the Holy Spirit and your Pastor (2 Timothy 3:16). The blessings of God are in most times simple instructions He gives. Many have neglected such instructions to their disadvantage.

There are several advantages to the one who holds on to instruction; he bears much fruit (John 15:5), no darkness can stand against him, he gains Wisdom and revelation (James 1:5) to carryout the work and lives in freedom. Obeying instructions keeps you free, it removes fear, it protects your mind and maintains your integrity. Also it gives you peace and stability that cannot be denied. The kind of peace that establishes your dignity, honor and personality.

Further Scripture Study: Proverbs 4:10-12; Jeremiah 3:15

Declare This: Heavenly Father, I yield and submit myself to Your Word for my life and I take advantage of the many blessings You give in Jesus name Amen.

YOU ARE GOD'S TEMPLE

“Know ye not that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? ”1 Corinthians‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The verse above started with a question, know ye not that you are the temple of God? Now, Paul is saying that God's children are His temple, this is a very powerful statement indeed. The building where we meet is not God’s temple; it is only the place where God’s children gather for worship. The Bible says "when two or three of God’s people gather in the name of Jesus, He is there in their midst (Matthew 18:20); whether in a private home, park or cathedral.

The Christian is the Temple of the Holy Spirit, God’s Holy Spirit dwells within the Christian believer. Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit so you just can’t treat your body any which way, for you were bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

As Christians, We are not our own. These Corinthians thought that their bodies were their own and that they could do just what they wanted with them; how wrong they were. Always remember that you are God's temple and as His temple, He dwells in you richly. Therefore, constantly make a conscious effort not to defile God's dwelling place.

Further Scripture Study: Ephesians 2:19-22; 2 Corinthians 6:16

Declare This: Thank You Lord for making me Your temple. I will not use my body wrongly, rather I live my life holy and acceptable only to please You in Jesus name Amen.

MAINTAIN YOUR HEART

"A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart,.....For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of." Luke 6:45 NIV

John Maxwell tells in his book, “The Leader Within You,” the story of the building of the Great Wall of China. They built it so high that no enemy could get over it. They built it so thick that no enemy could break through it and so long that no enemy could get around it.

They built this gigantic wall that still exists today. And then the people of China sat down behind the wall, feeling that their kingdom was secure. But in the first 100 years of the existence of the Great Wall, China was invaded 3 different times. The enemy didn’t come over the wall because it was too high. They didn’t break through or tunnel under because it was too thick. But each time China was invaded, the enemy came through gates that had been left open for them. Those who guarded the gates had been bribed. So they sold out to the enemy and the enemy invaded their land. What a lesson that should be to us!

This shows that the only way the devil can come through into your life is when you give him an entry point in. His best entry point is when he throws a question into your mind. One question can change and destroy everything. Bitterness, clamor, railing, malice and anger are also easy entry points for the devil. Don't let the devil take advantage of something you can do without. Be careful what you allow into your heart because it can make or break you.

Further Scripture Study: Proverbs 4:20-23; Ephesians 4:31

Declare This: Dear Father, I belong to You. I will not allow any unhealthy question dictate my spirit and any kind of junk come into me. I will protect my being against any intruder in Jesus name Amen.

TEACHING

"Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to exhortation, to teaching". 1 Timothy 4:13 ESV

Paul knew that people would look down on Timothy because he was young, so he admonished him; "Don’t give them a reason", devote yourself and heed to this instructions on how to live a spiritual and ethical life. He told Timothy to dedicate time to reading (studying), to exhortation and to teaching. As Christians we all need to also heed to this instructions too.

Teaching is an art, a science and a Gift. Paul told Timothy to teach the undiluted Word of God to the believers. Everything we have learned in life is the direct result of somebody teaching us by word or deed and where we are right now, someone is still learning from us. Teaching is not only when you stand before a class of students, no! Your behavior, attitude, character and lifestyle is also a teacher. As a christian, how do you teach with your attitude and your character? The attitude you possess will always show itself outwardly, in other words, you cannot give what you don't have.

The greatest Teacher is Our Lord Jesus Christ and He has given us this same ability to teach. When He noticed there was unbelief in a particular city, what He did was to teach them so as to clear every unbelief. There is nothing we cannot do, be a teacher not only in words but also let it replicate in your way of life.

Further Scripture Study: Matthew 9:35

Declare This: Father, I thank You for teaching me the way to follow. I will in return teach others to follow the way You have laid out for us all in Jesus name Amen.

YOU ARE QUALIFIED

"And giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light. Colossians 1:12 NIV

God wants you to know that you have been "qualified". Qualified is a welcomed word for anyone who strives to reach a definite goal in any area of life (athletics, employment, academics etc.). How infinitely more thrilling to be declared “qualified” for an eternal home in Heaven. The word qualified in the verse above means to be certified, proved, empowered and commissioned. God in His ever loving mercy has certified you a bona-fide citizen of Heaven. You have been qualified and not disqualified

This qualification is not on the Basis of any Inherent goodness, effort or ability of our own, not on the basis of any earthly status we might have attained, not hard work, age, strength or acquired estate but qualified only on the basis of our redemptive experience in Christ Jesus. Be thankful to the Father, knowing that you are qualified for the inheritance; let your light so shine before men. History will hear & know of you.

Further Scripture Study: Ephesians 2:8-9, 19; Psalms 68:19

Declare This: Dear Father I appreciate You, You love me so much and You qualified me a bona-fide citizen and partaker of the inheritance in Your kingdom in Jesus name Amen.

KILL DOUBT

“But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!” Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭14:30-31‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Now there was a certain day when Jesus sent his disciples off in the boat so He could stay behind to pray. When He was done praying, He walked to the bank of the sea and saw that there was no other boat sailing. At this time the disciples were already on their way headed to the next destination. Instead of waiting for the next available boat, Jesus walked on water to go join His disciples and when they sighted Jesus walking on water, they were terrified with fear thinking it was a ghost. After they realized that it was Jesus, Peter asked Jesus if he could join Him and immediately Jesus said come.

So Peter got out of the boat and walked on water toward Jesus, but when he saw the wind and the stormy waves, he started to sink. He took his eyes off of Jesus and cried for help, immediately Jesus reached out His hand and took a hold of him saying "O you of little faith, why did you doubt?" Peter's faith failed him and doubt stepped in. Many Christians often act the same way as Peter acted, they start off with so much faith and courage, but before long the voice of fear takes root and doubt finds its way in. They start sinking and never really achieving what they set out to do in the first place.

It is your faith that will help you and it is also your fear that will sink you. When doubt finds it's way in, cancel and kill it with the faith of God in you.

Further Scripture Study: Matthew 14:22-33; Mathew 21:21-22

UNSHAKABLE FAITH

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬‬‬‬‬

Faith in a simple language is the ability to act and recognize what you can't see in spite of what you are seeing. In order words, it’s the ability to hold on to what God says about you in spite of what the situation or conditions around you says.

Abraham as we know was a man who held on to God's promises with regards having a son. Even when he was in the prime of his life, he held on to the promise; not thinking of the medical conditions of his body or that of his wife Sarah. Of course there were times when they doubted and wanted to do things on their own, an example of this was when Sarah gave her maid Hagar to Abraham so they can have children by her; which resulted in the birth of Ishmeal (Genesis 16; 21:1-7). Several years later, God visited them and she conceived and bore Abraham a son in their old age and they called him Isaac.

Keep calling those things that be not as though they were. Let your faith stay activated and always ready for the next level in spite of where you are right now. An unshakable faith pleases the Lord.

Further Scripture Study: ‭‭1 Corinthians 16:13; Romans 4:17; Hebrews 11:6

Declare This: Thank You Father for my faith in Your Word is unshakable irrespective of the challenges I may face. Thank You for I am victorious always in Jesus name Amen.

YOUR HEART

"A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of." Luke 6:45 NIV

The dwelling place of our Lord Jesus Christ is not in any building, or cathedral, or historical site; No! that place is in your heart. The heart is the final stop before an action takes place, the heart knows, speaks truth, has secrets (1 Corinthians 14:25), believes and brings treasures (Matthew 12:35).

Whatever comes out of your mouth is exactly what is stored inside your heart. If God is in you, your mouth will speak and produce everything that God has. On the other hand, if all you have in you is hatred, malice and bitterness; this will definitely be produced outwardly too. You have the full responsibility to take care of what you allow inside you because "you are the result of what you allow".

You carry Deity in you, don't let any kind of junk take root in you. Also be very mindful of the kind of information you take in. Refuse to give into fear, believe in God's ability to make good things happen over and over again for you. Strengthen your faith, keep pushing forward, trust in the Lord and see Him perform strong on your behalf. Hold on to God with all of your heart.

Further Scripture Study: Proverbs 4:20-23: Jeremiah 24:7; Romans 10:9-10

REMAIN CONNECTED

"Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me". John 15:4 KJV

Jesus says, “Abide in me as I abide in you.” The word “abide” means “to live, to remain.” In other words, Jesus is saying, “remain connected to Me” for apart from Me you will be disconnected. Abiding is not dropping in for a visit every now and then. "Abiding in" means living there, staying connected to the source.

The disconnected loves God but with excuses, he does not work by faith, he works mostly by the senses and lives by what he sees. He is always quick to judge. No matter who you are, how experienced you are, and how knowledgeable you think you are, always delay judgement. Don't be disconnected, it slows your understanding, slows love, makes you more anxious and you'll be ruled by your emotions. Allow God to be God in your life and “remain connected to Him”. Remember, He told us that “apart from Him we can do nothing”.

Further Scripture Study: Acts 17:28

Declare This: Sweet Holy Spirit, thank You for divinely connecting me with the Truth of Your Word. I refuse to live a disconnected life in Jesus name Amen.

THE BATTLE WITHIN

"for Demas, having loved [the pleasures of] this present world, has deserted me and gone to Thessalonica; Crescens has gone to Galatia, Titus to Dalmatia". 2 Timothy 4:10 AMP

The battle we fight is not against our friends, neighbors or terrorists in the world. The greatest battle we fight is "the battle within"; it is the place where the fiercest battle is fought and that place is in our minds. It could be things offending you, affecting you, needs, pressures, sin, stress, the need for a child, the need for a wife or a husband, money, feeling all alone, impurity, lustful pleasures, quarreling, jealousy, anger, selfish ambition, envy, constant struggle, unforgiveness etc.

There are times when your spirit wants to pray but your flesh wants to watch the TV, your spirit wants to study but your flesh wants to go to sleep, your spirit wants to witness to that lost loved one but your flesh want to let someone else do it, your spirit wants to tithe but your flesh wants to spend, your spirit wants to love but your flesh wants to dislike & hate, your spirit wants to go to church but your flesh wants to stay in bed or go to work. All this are the battles of the mind; A Southern Baptist pastor so rightly stated that "The Christian life is not a playground, it is a battlefield" - It is a war. We are fighting an invisible war, with a faceless enemy.

If you are going to win this battle within, firstly know that you have the ability to win already. Use the right and proven equipment and techniques; always put on the full Armor of God daily. Know and understand each piece and how to wear them always, this gives you the upper hand constantly. You are the keeper of your mind.

Further Scripture Study: Ephesians 6:10-18

Declare This: Dear Father, I acknowledge the battles inside me. You know my heart more than I do and as I put on Your full Armor daily, I am shielded on all sides in Jesus name Amen.

PRACTICE THE WORD

“But be doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves”. James 1:22 ESV

The Word of God is the ultimate, practicing the Word is doing what the Word says to do. When you make God and His Word the first resort in your life, your attitude to life and the things of the kingdom will change and you’ll reap what the Word says. As you practice the Word, worry, doubt, fear and unbelief will be removed from you and replaced with new words of faith and success. When you’re faced with a difficult situation, use the Word over it. No one who ever followed God’s Word regretted it, His Word is Amen and Amen.

Everything about life started in the Word; when you practice using the Word of God at all times, you can never go wrong and as He has promised He will never leave you nor forsake you. You have to come to that point in your life where your response to the Word of God is so important. Make a quality decision to practice the Word of God no matter the challenge you’re going through. You must move forward to influence your circumstances instead of you been influenced by it. The only key to winning in life is the Word of God.

Further Scripture Study: Acts 20:32; John 1:1; Genesis 1:1

Declare This: Dear Father, Thank You for Your Word is All I require to live successfully in life. I will continuously hold on to Your Word because You are the Word of Life in Jesus name Amen.

THE RESPONSIBILITY OF LOVE

“Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law”. Romans 13:8 ESV ‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

As a Pastor, I have heard many say that they pray God will give them the grace to love like Jesus. So many times, instead of accepting our responsibility as Christians, to grow our love commitment, we want God to do all the work in our spiritual growth and development. We expect Him to supply more of His love, which He already provided. It's really our responsibility to see to it that we develop our love so it can grow and increase.

Also on the subject of love, too many believers are like the servant with one talent as described in Mathew 25:14-30, who wrapped up his talent in a napkin and hid it. The same goes for some of us, we have hidden the love of God that has already been shed abroad in our hearts. We've hidden it, instead of using it, exercising it, and developing it.

The more saturated you are in God's Word, the more you will be saturated in His love. When His Love is full inside you, acting based on God's love will be the first thought that comes to your mind, no matter what anyone has done to you. Choose Love always, only owe Love.

Further Scripture Reading: John 14:15; 1 Peter 4:8

Declare This: I declare that the Word of God consumes and saturates my heart completely and I grow in my expression of love to others in Jesus name Amen.
