COME ALIVE

And He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” And I answered, “O Lord God, You know.” Ezekiel 37:3 AMP

Ezekiel is faced with a seemingly unfortunate and discouraging situation. God spoke to him through dreams and visions and He asked Ezekiel if these bones could live? Ezekiel looking at millions of dead, dry bones scattered about 100’s of square miles said, O Lord God You know.

The scripture makes it clear from a human perspective there was absolutely no way that the bones could ever be life again. Verse 2 of Ezekiel 37 says "They were dry" meaning no life remained in them. Ezekiel had to go around several times looking at the bones, taking exact notice of them, of their number, situation and condition. No created power could restore human bones to life, God alone is the Restorer.

No matter where you are, no matter how dried up you are in your spirit, you can come alive. No matter how long you have been down, God will raise you up. There are no impossibility with God. If you have been dead spiritually for a week, or for many years, God can lift you up because He isn’t into dead things.

Further Scripture Study: Matthew 19:26

Declare This: Precious Heavenly Father, You are the God of all impossibilities and nothing can limit You. Thank You for making alive and changing any unwanted situation in my life in Jesus name Amen.

FILL YOURSELF CONSTANTLY

"And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord" Ephesians 5:18-19 KJV

God says, "be filled with the Spirit" meaning you have all the responsibility to fill yourself. As a Christian, just because you've received the Holy Spirit doesn't mean you'll always be filled with the Spirit. The fact that you have a Bible does not mean you are filled with the Spirit. You have to open the Bible, study and drink the Word constantly; this helps to fill you.

To be filled with the Spirit means to be influenced every single moment, hour and day with the Holy Spirit. It means you're functioning under the full control of the Holy Spirit; This is how God wants us to live.

When you see an individual who eats raw garlic always, you'll observe that even if he uses a full bottle of perfume to try and cover the smell of the garlic, the garlic will always win because the garlic has already permeated into every part of his body. No amount of perfume will stop the smell, his breath is full of it. Now this is what it means to be filled with the Spirit. When you eat the Word of God and fill yourself with it, anyone who sees you will see the glory of God all around you.

Further Scripture Study: Colossians 3:16

Declare This: Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for showing me what to do to stay full of You. I will continue to eat and drink Your Word daily in Jesus name Amen.

RESPONDING TO GOD

And the Lord came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth. 1 Sam 3:1 KJV

In 1 Samuel 3, the Lord called on Samuel four times but three of the times he ran to Eli the priest thinking it was Eli calling him. Samuel hadn’t yet been instructed on how to recognize God’s voice, he was a young boy who was an apprentice, still learning the ropes. After Samuel ran to Eli twice thinking it was Eli calling him, he came the third time and at this time Eli perceived that the Lord was the One calling him. He then taught Samuel what to do, he taught Samuel how to "respond to God".

How good is your signal strength when it comes to hearing from God? So many people have missed God because they didn't know how to hear and respond to God. They missed the message when it came. In order to hear God, give God permission to speak to you. We’re told Eli’s advise to Samuel, he told Samuel to say speak Lord for your servant hears (1 Samuel 3:9). Give God permission to speak, He talks to us everyday, He can talk to you if you know how to respond to Him.

Further Scripture Study: Proverbs 4:20

Declare This: Heavenly Father, my spirit is open to hearing You talk to me regarding the truth I need in my life right now. You have all the answers I need and I promise to respond rightly in Jesus name Amen.

REMAIN FAITHFUL

“And Ruth said, Entreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:” Ruth‬ ‭1:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

After the death of Naomi’s husband and her sons, she decided to return back to her native home. Before the death of her sons, they both had wives (Ruth & Orpah); Naomi told the daughters-in-law she was returning to her home land but Ruth declined to leave Naomi's side despite several plea and excuses from Naomi (read verses 6-15). Ruth showed her loyalty by remaining faithful and devoted to her mother in law. She said wherever you go I will go, where you live I will live and where you die, there will I be buried too (verse 17-18).

How devoted are you to the Word of God and His truth? Are you one of those who easily give up in the face of challenges and loose heart when the situation seem hopeless? Your devotion, dedication and faithfulness to a course will always lead you to your desired testimony(ies). When you remain faithful to any course, you will definitely arrive at your destination. You can have all that God has promised you, all that is required of you is to remain faithful and never give up.

Further Scripture Study: James‬ ‭1:12; Isaiah 41:10‬ ‭

Declare This: Thank You Father for I am encouraged in my spirit to remain faithful to Your words irrespective of the challenges I face in Jesus name Amen.

THE JOURNEY

"Now Jacob left Beersheba [never to see his mother again] and traveled toward Haran. Genesis 28:10 AMP

Life is a journey, it has a starting point, a goal and an end. There are some journeys that leads to a sad ending but a journey with God leads to a happy ending. God never wrote a sad ending, He only writes happy ending. If at this point you're not happy, it means it's not yet the end.

Esau had planned to kill his brother Jacob after mourning their father, but Jacob had to flee for his life to his uncle's place at Haran. He started his journey going from Beersheba to Haran, at night he got to a "certain place" (no man's land) to rest. While in his sleep he had a dream and in that dream God appeared to him. Something very important to note, when you're on the right journey, you are never alone, God meets you there.

God chose to meet with Jacob, bring healing to him and encouraged him in his travel. God wants to draw near to you, no matter the position and state you are on your journey. Whatever "certain place" you may find yourself in presently, God wants to encounter the place with you and bring you out a winner. Let God be the driver of your journey.

Further Scripture Study: Hebrews 13:5

Declare This: Dear Lord, It's with great joy in my heart to know that You are with me throughout my journey of life. Thank You for Your covering, protection, guidance and direction as I carryout this adventure of life in Jesus name Amen.

DOMINATE IN LOVE

For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.” ‭‭Romans 6:14 ‭KJV‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

In the book of Romans chapter 6, Paul argues that believers have been translated from the era of sin under the first Adamic nature to a new and second Adamic era of righteousness; and because we are under grace, we cannot continue to sin for grace to abound. Let God's Love dominate you.

You may ask, how do I let Love dominate? Simply by firstly acknowledging that you are a Love being and secondly, making Love a priority in your life. If you have the God kind of love in you, then you can give it, show it and express it everyday. "The measure of maturity of a Christian is the level of love he allows to dominate him". Dominating in love is dominating with God and when you dominate with God, He will reveal deep secrets to you and increase your authority to love backed with divine Grace.

Further Scripture Study: 2 Corinthians 5:14‬

Declare This: Lord I thank You for Your love that dominates every part of me. I declare that I express this love freely to all who come in contact with me in Jesus name Amen.

PLAY YOUR PART

"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14 NIV

In life, there are two parts to everything and we all have our parts to play. The Christian life is a life of responsibility and when you faithfully play your part, you can be rest assured that God's part will be played. It is not God's responsibility to do what you have to do, He cannot make you pray, fast, study His Word, give your tithes and offerings, worship Him or go to church. He has already given all the instructions in His Word and what He said, He will do.

In 2017, hours after church service; I took out sometime to pray for the church and when I had finished praying, The Lord spoke to me very clearly and He said to me "Son, you are not the one responsible for the results - the results are My responsibility". He said you cannot do My job for Me, just play your part and I will definitely fulfill My Own part". Glory to God. He is the One Who will promote you, open doors of opportunity for you; connect, link and hook you up with the Truth; all you have to do is stay humble, pray and always seek His Face.

Further Scripture Study: Acts 16:25-40; Exodus 14:10-15; Luke 14:16-24

Declare This: Dear Lord, please forgive me if I ever attempted to play Your part for You. I have resolved in me to do as You have instructed, giving You the avenue to do what You promised in Jesus name Amen.

KEEP THE FAITH

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." 2 Timothy 4:7 NIV

Before Paul's death, he admonished Timothy to ensure he carries out his duties. Paul told him three very important things he did; he said "I have fought the good fight", "I have finished the race" and "I have kept the faith".

How faithful are you? How do you keep the faith? The word for ‘keep’ means to manage, to guard, to look over. Some Christians bury their faith like the man with one talent (Matthew 25:24-25). Paul is telling us here that we must manage, guard and look over our Faith. Your Faithfulness to Christ is very important and being faithful now does not guarantee that you will finish well, but it puts you in the position to be able to do it. When you are not faithful now, finishing well becomes much harder for you later.

You have to put your faith to work always even when things around you seem unbearable and impossible. Whatever challenge you may be facing, it takes your faith to overcome it. Spend more time with God in the Word and in prayer.

Further Scripture Study: Hebrews 11:1-6; 1 John 5:4

Declare This: Heavenly Father, I will continue to spend more time in prayer and build up my faith consistently as a faithful servant of Your kingdom in Jesus name Amen.

EYE-SERVICE

"Not in the way of eye-service [working only when someone is watching you and only] to please men, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from your heart; rendering service with goodwill, as to the Lord, and not [only] to men. Ephesians 6:6-7 AMP

Do you know someone who delights in eye-service? if yes, the text scripture above gives us the perfect instruction to follow. Not working only to please men, but pleasing the Lord by doing the Will of the Father.

An excellent example is the story of Martha and Mary. The scripture tells us that Martha was distracted with much serving, while Mary sat at Jesus' feet to hear His Word (Luke 10:38-42). Martha was busy in the kitchen cooking with so much eye-service, trying to please the flesh but Mary chose the good part. This passage clearly reveals the desire the Lord Jesus wants of His children. He wants us to abide in Him, worship Him and stay connected to Him rather than serving Him.

Eye-service is dangerous because it takes you out of the will of God and destroys relationships. Let your pleasing be to the Lord only.

Further Scripture Study: 2 Corinthians 5:14-15; Luke 10:38-42

Declare This: Dear Father, I am compelled to be consistent in my responsibilities and remain motivated to carryout Your concerns and motives from today on in Jesus name Amen.

WHAT KIND ARE YOU?

"Now in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some unto honor, and some unto dishonor.  2 Timothy 2:20-21 ASV

In any home, there are many different kinds of vessels. There are vessels that are for the kitchen (pots, jugs etc), for the bathrooms, for decorative purposes, for the rooms etc. Which of these do you think is the most important to the owner of the house? The answer is NONE because each vessel has its unique purpose. You cannot use a cooking pot as your drinking cup, the pot has its specific purpose and so does the cup too. Also a plastic vessel and aluminum vessel cannot be put on the burner with boiling bubbling water; its purpose will be defeated. From the verses above, you will observe that the vessels of gold and of silver are not necessarily better than the vessels of wood of iron, it all depends on their function.

The Bible likens each of us to vessels in a great house, which is God's house. Whatever vessel you think you are in God's house, the important thing is whether you are functioning in God's calling for you. As long as you function where God has positioned you, you're a vessel unto honor. Don't function in someone else's calling, everyone of us has a divine call from the Lord. Ask Him what yours is and function in it, when you do, God is pleased.

Further Scripture Study: Ephesians 5:1-2; 2 Timothy 2;21

Declare This: I am a vessel unto honor. I'll make true to my responsibility in Church and carry out my function with all of my heart in Jesus name Amen.

THE UNSEEN

"So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:18 NIV

The eyes is limited by perspective or by the amount of information available to it. No one prior to the invention of the electron microscope could see things that existed at the atomic or subatomic level. Just because we couldn’t see them, doesn't mean that they didn’t exist? It simply means that our eyes have limitations in regards to seeing small objects.

Your eyes also have another limitation, they cannot see into the spiritual realm. It is not discern-able to the human eye. My premise here is that “your physical eyes can’t see what is unseen”. There are two kinds of eyes; The natural eye & The spiritual eye; the natural eye can only behold things which are seen, while the spiritual eye can recognize the things which are not seen. One of the surest ways to see the unseen is when you use "your eyes of Faith" because we serve a God, who is Unseen.

Beloved, you can’t always trust your eyes because what you think you know will affect what you see.

Further Scripture Study: 2 Corinthians 4:13

Declare This: Dear God, I know You are the God who knows and sees the future. I put my trust in You to enable me see the great and mighty things You have for me in my future in Jesus name Amen.

STEADFASTNESS

"His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful and trustworthy over a little, I will put you in charge of many things; share in the joy of your master." Matthew 25:21, 23 AMP

Are you always reliable in your service? When you think of one who is reliable and steadfast, you have complete confidence that that person can be trusted to do exactly what has been asked of them, every time. Throughout both the Old and New Testament, we find accounts of men and women who were used by God for His purpose in His kingdom. We read how God used these people and worked in their lives, and generally we do not read about great skill, intellect or physical attributes. God used them just the way they were. And these great men and women of the Bible were all entirely different.

When you are steadfast, your abilities stays noticed and your name will be noised abroad in your business, job and family affairs. You will be protected by the Lord and receive special praise and honor from the Lord and other witnesses. Choose to be steadfast at all times because you are been watched.

Further Scripture Study: Luke 16:10; Matthew 24:45; Hebrews 3:5

Declare This: Father, on my knees I thank You for always showing me the way to go. I choose to be reliable to myself, to others and most especially to Your Word in Jesus name Amen.

AGAPE LOVE

“He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.”‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬ 1 John‬ ‭4:8‬ ‭KJV‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

We know without a doubt that God is love and the very thought of Him instigates love. Although there are several kinds of love mentioned in the Bible but in today’s study we want to talk about the agape love according to how it’s described in the scriptures.

Agape Love can be explained as the highest and most supreme love of all. It is the sacrificial, divine, saving , secure and satisfying love. This is the kind of love that protects and doesn’t hold back. This kind of love is willing to die for another even if the person is unworthy or undeserving. “For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of His Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life". ‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

As you go around today be conscious that this kind of Love is not just an emotion which rises in our hearts but a deliberate principle which we live by. We must be conscious and aware that this is the kind of love we must have for all men. Never consider if they are undeserving of your love or not, its your nature to love. Remember we are spirit beings and just like our Father we must follow after His perfect example.

Further Scripture Study: John 13:34-35; Romans 5:10

Declare This: Heavenly Father, just as You have loved me by giving Your Son to die for me even when it seem I was not worthy. I pray that I express genuine love to everyone I come in contact with, not being biased or prejudiced in Jesus name Amen.

THE SHADOW OF THE ALMIGHTY

"Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty" Psalms 91:1 NIV

This Psalm is classified as a Psalm of Confidence and the opening verse of this psalm have been quoted countless times and repeated in the hearts of God’s people even more frequently. This verse is specifically talking about where you are in the spirit. Do you dwell in the secret place of the most high? Anyone who dwells in the secret place shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty i.e. under the cover and protection of the Almighty.

What is the secret place? Christ is the secret place and also the dwelling place. When you dwell in the secret place, it means you're dwelling in God (In Him). Just like the father eagle, God protects and covers you under His Shadow.

If you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will befall you and no disaster will come near your tent.” The psalmist is inviting us to dwell in the shelter of the Most High and rest in the shadow of the Almighty. If we walk with Him and trust in Him, you can count on Him at any time.

Further Scripture Study: Psalm 91; Isaiah 33:24

Declare This: Thank You Heavenly Father for hiding and keeping me in the secret of Your dwelling in Jesus name Amen.

YOU ARE ANSWERABLE

"So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God". Romans 14:12 NIV

As stated above in our opening verse, you will surely give an account of yourself to God. To be accountable means to be Liable, answerable, Obligated and responsible. You have the ultimate responsibility of what is accountable to you and what you are accountable for will tell who you are.

There are periods in our lives where your marriage is falling apart and you don’t know why; Your family is constantly at each other’s throats; You can’t seem to overcome that impulsive behavior or habit; You can’t seem to get our of debt; challenges with your father or mother; no job, no money, depression, frustration etc. You have to be able to account for whatever goes on in your life because when you are accountable; It brings promotion, It helps to reduce & minimize errors and it builds ownership with clarity of directions. More grace is given to the one who is accountable.

You answerable to what goes on in your life, one day you will definitely give an account of it all.

Further Scripture Study: Proverbs 13:18

Declare This: Dear Father, what an honor to serve You. I will ensure I remain accountable to my responsibilities in Jesus name Amen.

YOUR FELLOWSHIP WITH HIM

"What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us". 1 Corinthians 2:12 NIV

The key to an extraordinary life is the Holy Spirit. As a christian, you should have more communication with the Holy Spirit than with anybody else in your life. It is from that fellowship with Him you draw full inspiration and you hear more. All the successes you may have experienced in your life are as a result of God's Love and favor in your life.

As a Christian, you’ve got to consistently pray; set aside specific times for prayer where you're in constant continuing fellowship with the Holy Spirit. You cannot truly live a great life without Him. Take full advantage of the ministry of the Holy Spirit in your life, when you do, you'll increasingly experience more of His beauty and His glory. Reading verse 16 of our text scripture, it says you have the mind of Christ. This means you can think the way He thinks, you can reason and do exactly what He would have done if He was the One to do it. This only comes when you mingle in fellowship with Him. Give your fellowship with Him first priority, it matters a lot to Him. Be more confident in the ability of the Spirit in you today and always.

Further Scripture Study: 1 Corinthians 1:9; John 14:15-31; Psalms 51:11

Declare This: Thank You Lord for giving me this rich life of fellowship with You. I am eternally grateful and appreciative for sending to me the Holy Spirit to help direct and lead me in the way to go in Jesus name Amen.

FILTER OF LOVE

For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.” ‭‭1 John 3:11 KJV‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

Indeed loving people isn't easy, yet this is what the Bible commands of us, that "we should love one another". We spend time on what we deem important, for many of us these choices are valid; time with family and friends, work, prayer, serving the poor, fighting for rights, protesting wrongs. But as the Scripture reminds us, "And if I donate all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body in order to boast but do not have love, I gain nothing" (1 Corinthians 13:3).

Even though we have the freedom to set our own priorities, Jesus made a point of defining some of them for us: ".......The second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself' (Matthew 22:37-39). Love, is not a gray area of the Scriptures. Jesus gave love a priority over all other Christian virtues. Every thought, response and act of goodwill must first pass through the fine filter of love, or it means nothing at all. Love is the greatest and most important. It takes Love because God is Love.

Further Scripture Study: Mathew 22:37-39; 1 Corinthians 13

Declare This: Thank You Father for teaching me how to set love as my priority. Nothing else is more important than this, therefore I declare that my very thought and action is based on true love in Jesus name Amen.

MOVE UP

"As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby". 1 Peter 2:2-3 KJV

As a Christian, your life starts out as a babe and this is the same as it is in the natural world. As babe or baby, they are steps to take in growing from a child to an adult in the natural life and there are also steps for our spiritual growth too. There is nobody on earth who was born an adult, if you are one then probably you’re from an unknown planet.

If a baby born to this world is not well taken care of from birth, there is every possibility that the child will not grow up rightly. That is why those who don't follow the right steps never grow. The very moment you believe with your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord over your life, from that day you become a Christian and your life starts out as a spiritual babe; drinking the milk of the Word.

Your sincere desire for the milk of the Word of God will make you grow the best way God wants you to. Remain consistent and take out specific and conscious times to study and pray for yourself. Move up in the things of the Spirit.

Further Scripture Study: 1 Corinthians 13:11; Romans 10:10

Declare This: Dear Lord, I thank You for allowing me to come boldly before You in prayer. I choose to grow up in the things of the Spirit in Jesus name Amen.

YOU HAVE TO PREVAIL

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places". Ephesians 6:12 KJV

So many people tend to think that screaming, yelling, screeching, stomping, and shouting are required to defeat the devil. However, these actions will accomplish nothing if those same people are not doing it the way it should be done. There is nothing wrong in screaming or shouting, you can definitely do that but it has to be done with Understanding.

The fight we fight is not a fight with your cousin or your colleague at your job place; No! it's a spiritual fight. When you neglect to do the right thing, you give room for the devil to step in and when he does he uses the very loopholes you created to your disadvantage but to his advantage. We must do all we can to shut every door to our souls through which the devil might attempt to access our lives. Pay attention to what the Bible offers and follow through to it. Give no room for slackness in your life, be alert and vigilant as a real Christian soldier always, walk with God and listen to the voice of His Spirit. Fill your thoughts with the Word of God.

Further Scripture Study: Ephesians 6:13-18; 2 Corinth 10:4; 1 Thess 5:8

Declare This: Dear Lord, thank You for Your Word. Every weapon I need to prevail against the enemies that come against my life, my family, my business, my friends, and my church has been provided in Jesus name Amen.

WHICH ARE YOU?

"Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them". Matthew 7:20 KJV

Jesus told us, “Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.” The word “fruit” is the Greek word "karpos", it describes the physical fruit of plants or trees. However, the word karpos is also used to depict the fruit borne by a person’s life. This fruit might include a person’s deeds, actions, moral character, and behavior, or the output of the person’s work. In essence, Jesus used the word karpos to tell us that the various by-products of a person’s life ultimately reveal what is inside that person.

Which fruit are you? Good or bad fruit? Good fruit belongs to good trees, and bad fruit belongs to bad trees. The quality that a tree carries is reflected in the fruit it bears. Be very careful to look to yourself and to the fruit of others. Take the time to carefully observe your life so that when others see you, they can know the kind of fruit you carry and bear. Also, If you want to know what is inside a person, just observe his attitude and how he relates to other people. His fruit will tell you the truth about who he really is. The fruit never lies. Which are you?

Further Scripture Study: John 15:4-5

Declare This: Lord, I confess that I am a producer of good fruit. People see the character of Jesus Christ in me, and I demonstrate Your love to everyone around me in Jesus name Amen.

AT A CROSSROAD

"Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world". 1 John 4:17 KJV

Whenever you're faced with unwanted challenges and it seem everywhere you turn to is against you, what do you do? What do you do when you're desperate, confused, in crisis or at a crossroad?

Notice from our text scripture above that God's Love is "Perfect", that is, it's complete, lacking nothing and uncompromised. Next it says that "we may have boldness in the day of judgment"; boldness here means confident assurance, courage and fearlessness in the day of judgment. The day of judgment is that time when you're at a crossroad.

When you find yourself at a crossroad, what is your response? that is not the time to cry or feel sorry for yourself; No! That time is the time to activate and stimulate your faith in boldness and tell yourself I am an overcomer. It is that time you"ll say it is well in the midst of this temporal adversity. Continue to walk and live with the consciousness that you're not an ordinary person, everyday hold your head up with dignity and stay consistent in Him. Winning is yours.

Further Scripture Study: Job 22:29

Declare This: Precious God, I thank You for Your Love and for demonstrating how it is to live and win everyday. I stand in boldness now and always in Jesus name Amen.

TEST OF OBEDIENCE

"Some time later God tested Abraham. He said to him, “Abraham!” Here I am,” he replied. Then God said, “Take your son, your only son, whom you love - Isaac, and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on a mountain I will show you.” Genesis 22:1-2 NIV

God asked Abraham to sacrifice his only child as a burnt sacrifice; He didn’t ask Abraham to sacrifice an ox or a goat or a lamb because Abraham had plenty of animals. Abraham could have used some very strong arguments to try to change God’s mind, but he didn’t. He simply saddled the donkey & obeyed God.

I cannot imagine anything harder to do than that. God is saying, "Take the best, the most treasured possession you have, the object of your love & give it to me." Very touching. God was testing Abraham's Obedience, Commitment and Faith; and he didn't complain or procrastinate about the instruction. He willingly without question or rebellion, did exactly what God asked him to do.

We are in a time now were God is going to require more from you than just your coming to church, more than just your giving and offerings, more than your praise or worship. God is calling you to obedience and to move higher.

Further Scripture Study: Hebrews 11:17

Declare This: Dear Father, I choose to be obedient and committed to Your call. I will not allow my flesh dictate all You have for me in Jesus name Amen.

IT'S UP TO YOU

" I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live". Deuteronomy 30:19 KJV

Do you know what is in front of you? Do you know where all this is leading you to? There is so much darkness all over the world and people are concerned over their jobs, finances, and many other things. We should not be surprised, because the word of God foretold of these times. God lets us know that there is a difference between the Christian and the world. He has chosen us out of the world and we are not of the world.

Joseph chose to win despite the predicaments he found himself in and the Lord gave him favor (Genesis 39:20-21). You probably are in some unwanted situation right now but God is saying to you that the choice to win is all in your hands and not in His Hands. He has given you the sole authority to choose life or death; blessing or the curse; whatever choice you make now will determine the level at which you will either win or loose. God, who is so loving and kind gave us the best choice to take; He said choose life. The choice is all up to you.

GIVE NO ROOM

"But Thomas, one of the twelve [disciples], who was called Didymus (the twin), was not with them when Jesus came". John 20:24 AMP

The Lord Jesus made an appointment with His disciples that He would meet them after His resurrection at a specific time, but out of the twelve disciples only Thomas was not there. He missed the blessings the Master came with and because of that someone else collected the blessings. God can actually give something that is supposed to be yours to someone else just because you were not there or you arrived late to receive it.

Many times you see Christians coming late to church or programs that relates to the things of God. The portion of scripture above vividly describes why many Christians miss their miracle; not being at the right place at the right time. They go to their job place early but come to church late; When you make lateness a pattern in your life, sooner or later you will run out of excuses, you'll start loosing your reputation with God, you find yourself struggling and before you know it - you can even miss your miracle and opportunities. Make a conscious effort to be truthful to yourself and give no room for excuses.

Further Scripture Study: Matthew 28:10

Declare This: Lord, I receive this word today into my spirit. You have called me to do something great for You, and I’m not going to let the devil or my circumstances chase me away from where I know I need to be in Jesus name Amen.

DON'T STAY AWAY

"Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching". Hebrews 10:25 KJV

There are many reasons why people stay away from church when they are discouraged. Perhaps someone said or did something, or ashamed that they’re still struggling with problems they think should have been conquered long ago or the Pastor made mention of them on the pulpit. They don’t want anyone to know they’re still wrestling with the same old problems, so they stop going to Church. Don’t let embarrassment or discouragement keep you away from other believers. Satan knows that if he can get you to fall out of fellowship with other believers then he can probably keep you down and defeated.

The church is the last place the devil wants you to go when you’re feeling low. He knows if you go to church, you will be touched by the Presence of the Lord; you will get encouraged by other believers; and in the end, you’ll come out of that hole the enemy has put you in and rise up to your place of heavenly victory. Stay in church, your strength lies there.

Declare This: Dear Lord, I declare by faith that I am filled with the Spirit of God. I will not stay away from church, neither from true believers in Jesus name Amen.

NO LIMITS

"Now Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it to his brothers, and they hated him even more". Genesis 37:5 AMP

When Joseph had the dream, everything was working against him including his own blood brothers hated him even more. I encourage you to read Genesis 37 to Genesis 45 to see for yourself how Joseph's dream was fulfilled. You'll observe that the dream which looked so impossible became a reality after several years. There are no laws in Heaven or on earth that can stand against dreaming big, so you're at liberty to dream as big as you want and as gigantic as your mind can carry.

You are the size of your dream because making your dream big is a decision you have to make. No one can dream for you, except you want to live another man's dreams. Refuse to put your mind to sleep, make sure your vision for a successful tomorrow is big enough to require the Hosts of Heaven to back you up. God's resources are limitless.

Further Scripture Study: Genesis 13:14-15

Declare This: Lord Jesus, I thank You for giving me the ability to dream big. Thank You for filling me with supernatural endurance to do the job You’ve given me to do. I am very aware that with You by my side nothing is impossible in Jesus name Amen.

EXTRAORDINARY ENERGY

“for I know [with confidence] that this will turn out for my deliverance and spiritual well-being, through your prayers and the [superabundant] supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ [which upholds me]. Philippians 1:19 AMP

There are times when we get physically tired and mentally exhausted. At that time, every part of your body says its time to relax and rest but there are some, regardless of how long or how hard they work, seem to have the fortitude, determination, and will to keep going strong, even when others can barely take one more step. Have you ever met someone like this? If you have, a question always tend to arise in our mind, how in the world can that person keep going the way he does?

As a Christian, you have that same inexhaustible supply of power available to you; it's an "Extraordinary Energy" from the Holy Spirit. He is your wealthy Helper and the Extra Strength you will always need.

DIVINE PEACE

"And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful". Colossians 3:15 KJV

Paul wrote in our text verse above and he said, “And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.” God's peace is all you need to rule in your heart when you're faced with difficulties.

Notice the word “rule” in this verse, It is from the Greek word "brabeuo", which was used to describe an umpire or referee who moderated and judged the athletic competitions that were so popular in the ancient times. Paul uses this word to tell us that the peace of God can work like an umpire or referee in our hearts, minds, and emotions. When unwanted emotions attempt to take control over you or try to throw you into a state of emotional frenzy, guess what? you can actually stop it from happening by making the choice to let God’s peace reign inside you like an umpire or referee to moderate you emotions. When you do, divine peace sets in and rules in your heart. His peace surpasses and transcends all understanding.

Further Scripture Study: Philippians 4:6-7; Hebrews 13:20-21

Declare This: Dear Lord, I will not let my emotions get the best of me today, so I ask that Your peace would rise up like a mighty umpire and referee in my heart, mind, and emotions in Jesus name Amen.
