"But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass" James 1:22-23 KJV
As a Believer in Christ, God sees you like a mirror capable of reflecting His glory and every Christian has a responsibility to allow God’s glory to reflect more and more through them. Don't allow your true image to be contaminated with the cares of the world, the information from the news media, from the doctor and from others change your true reflection of who they are.
When you get out of the shower, you can’t see in the mirror because of the steam. You must clean away the layer of moisture on the mirror or you wait until the moist clears off before you can see your image. When we want a true reflection, an image that is the exact likeness of the original, there cannot be anything in the way that will distort the view, whether it's a steam on the mirror.

God used His Own very Image to create us, not the image of an Angel nor the image of any kind of beast of the field, but His Own Image. So when we look at our reflection, we should see God in us. His light should shine on us, and then reflect off us. God’s glory from His Word will always show your actual image.
