BENEFICIAL LOVE

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 KJV

I have one question for you; how much do you think God loves you? One writer said it this way, "If God had a refrigerator, your picture would be on it. If He had a wallet, your photo would be in it. Whenever you want to talk, He'll listen. He can live anywhere in the universe, and He chose your heart... Face it, friend. He's crazy about you." No one has ever loved more deeply than our God. Believe it or not, He loves you so much that His Son Jesus Christ had to die for you.

God's Love is beneficial and has a destination. He said if you believe, you will have everlasting/eternal life. So what is everlasting life? simple; It is having Jesus. He said "I am the life" (John 14:6) and also it says "this life is in the Son and whosoever has the Son has life (1 John 5:12). Everlasting life is the very Life of God, It is the highest and supreme form of life that is superior to the devil, demons and any other god. This life is not subject to discouragement, defeat, failure or any habit.

As a Christian, there is nothing that can keep you from His love, except "you". The very characteristics of God's love should stir faith and hope in your heart so that you can enjoy the Life that destroys sickness, dismisses diseases and makes infirmity invalid.

Declare This: Dear Father, thank You for not holding back Your love for me. I choose Eternal Life now and always in Jesus name Amen.

SERVE ZEALOUSLY

"Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord". Romans 12:11 NIV

God’s Word has the answer and it's always right. We must serve the Lord zealously or serve passionately, fervently, eagerly and excitedly. As Christians, we all should always be excited serving the Lord. Serving the Lord is what life is all about for the Christian and we do this basically by serving others. 1 Peter 4:10 says "Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms."

This word zeal means “devotion and diligence” and to be diligent is the same Greek word Paul uses to tell Timothy in 2 Timothy 2:15; “Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved....correctly analyzing and accurately dividing the word of truth.” It takes diligence to serve and when serving zealously, you must also be “fervent in spirit.” A zealous teacher will never make his students fall asleep in his class because whenever he teaches, he is connected with his students and they are all on the same page.

Please keep in mind that when serving the Lord, you don't draw attention to yourself like many do. God will be the One exposing and showcasing you to others. Serving Christ zealously, enthusiastically, any way you can, any time you can, any where you can; will make things right with you when things are going in the wrong direction. Serve passionately in Church and participate excitedly, in your commitment, attendance, giving and time.

Further Scripture Study: Acts 20:19

Declare This: Dear Father, I am passionate in my service to You and my commitment to the things of the kingdom is my utmost priority in Jesus name Amen.

WALK OF FAITH

"For we walk by faith, not by sight."
2 Corinthians 5:7 KJV

Many people are still trying to figure out what this “Christian” thing is all about. What should we experience after we have been saved. We hear about change, but what should change? Another angle on this question, is that of modern spirituality. What I’m saying is that many people today are claiming spirituality, claiming a relationship with God, claiming to be saved, but demonstrate nothing of what God has said in His Word. They demonstrate nothing of a genuine walk with the Lord. They act their relationship to God as though putting on a mask of religiosity will draw the love of an all-knowing Holy God. God's Word declares He wants a relationship with us, pure and unadulterated.

The Walk of Faith is a walk of life, it is an honest walk, a spiritual walk and a worthy walk. This walk of faith is not occasional but a daily, momentary walk for all to see. It is expressing your faith by creating reality with your speaking and with your daily corresponding actions. It does not walk based on how you feel or the amount of tears from your eyes; it does not beg or doubt but has authority and speaks.

When walking by faith; it is either you are heading into greater alignment with the Word of God, or are we not; it's either you are allowing Christ to become your authority to help you through life or you are still trusting your own ways? it's either you are walking in the newness of life, or the old ways; whatever position you are in right now, you can still make head way because this walk of faith is a walk that leads to a perfect destination in Christ. Don't leave the work for the devil.

Further Scripture Study: 1 John 5:4

Declare This: Dear Father, I am making head way in my walk of faith. I refuse to allow distractions or the cares of this world dictate my faith walk in Jesus name Amen.

YOU ARE HIS TEMPLE

"Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.”1 Corinthians‬ ‭3:16-17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Have you ever seen a child walking with his dad or mom, and the son has a T-shirt on that reads "I belong to Daddy" or "I belong to Mommy"? Have you ever seen a young man and his girlfriend walking hand in hand with shirts that say, "I belong to Him" and "I belong to Her"? The Apostle Paul also talks about us Christians not belonging to ourselves. If you are a Christian, your owner is Jesus Christ. He bought you with a price and He paid for it on the cross. He gave His life for you.

In the Old Testament, The Temple was the building where God promised that He would meet with his people (Exodus 25:22, 1 Kings 6:11-13). It was a place of corporate celebration and God's people went in there to offer sacrifices and giving of thanks onto the Lord.

Paul is saying that God's children are His temple, this is a very powerful statement. The Christian is the Temple of the Holy Spirit; 2 Corinthians 6:16 says “...for ye are the temple of the living God...” Paul’s revelation here is that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit so you just can’t treat your body any which way, for you were bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

Further Scripture Study: Ephesians 2:19-22

Declare This: Thank You Lord for making me Your temple. I will not use my body wrongly, rather I live my life holy and acceptable only to please You in Jesus name Amen.

DISTRIBUTOR OF HONOUR

"Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves". Romans 9:10 NIV

When we see good in people’s lives we should give honor to whom honor is due. In other words, honor one another graciously. To honor means to show respect to or for, to give recognition and to esteem another. Why should we give honor? Because of what honor does. God honors us by blessing us and when you don't give honor, don't expect honor in return. Be willing to give honor and if you don't, it means you're not walking in the light of God's Word.

If anybody should be quick to honor others, it should be the Christians. Philippians 2:3-4 says "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others." The idea is; What can I do for others? What can I do to help and honor others?

Beloved of God, it's not a difficult thing to do. If Jesus did it, you can too because God's Word brings honor. When you honor God, He will honor you and make you a distributor of honor. When you live your life the way God wants of you, honor will be given to you in return.

Further Scripture Study: Romans 13:7

Declare This: I will give honor to others. I don't have dishonor in my life and I refuse to be a participator in dishonor. I am a distributor of honor in Jesus name Amen.

ACCESSIBLE LOVE

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16 KJV

The good news about God’s love is that it is not limited to a select few. It is not available only to those who were born with right color of skin or on the correct continent. Nor is it difficult to obtain. It is not reserved for only the intellectual elite or the power brokers or financial wizards. No, the love of God is accessible to “whoever believes in” Christ Jesus. God had to come down to our level, not in the sense that he lessened His holiness or lowered His standards; NO! NO!! But only in the sense that He has made His love accessible to the average, ordinary person like me and like you. He is not a distant God who loves us only from some mystical, far away place that is completely removed from us. Rather He has entered into our world and He longs to enter into our lives.

"That whosoever believes in Him" means God's love is reachable. When it says "whosoever", it means "Any"; that is, anyone who believes in Jesus will have eternal life. This life begins the moment you believe and accept Him as your Lord and Savior, but it gets infinitely better when you go to be with Him.

God's Love is very accessible, take full advantage of this Love that has been made totally available to all. You did not have to pay for it, rather He paid for you to have access to this precious Love! What an Amazing God we serve.

Further Scripture Study: John 3:17; John 17:3

Declare This:Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for making Your love available to me and for paying the prize on my behalf. I will ensure I make Your love available to everyone in my own world in Jesus name Amen.

TAKE ADVANTAGE

"Practice and work hard on these things; be absorbed in them [completely occupied in your ministry], so that your progress will be evident to all." 1 Timothy 4:15 AMP

Think of all the outlets of service and activities you’ve been asked to do and are needed in the church. The fact that you have been asked may have been the Providence of God trying to wake you from your lethargy. Have you been asked to go out on evangelism, work in the Children's church, preach, sing in the choir, greet guests at the door? God may be trying to tell you something.

Too many wait for opportunities to come not realizing there are always opportunities in the house of God. Opportunities are all around us everyday, so don’t wait to get in the mood to become involved in the work that has an everlasting reward. You have to prime the pump, if you wait until you’re in the mood, you may wait forever. When you don’t feel like doing something, you tend to put it off, but it’s often after we get involved in a task that we become highly motivated.

Don’t wait to serve. God has given you both abilities and opportunities to use them to serve others. Seize the opportunities and use what God has given you. Avail yourselves of the opportunities, don’t wait. God wants to use you now.

Further Scripture Study: 2 Corinthians 9:8

Declare This: Dear Lord, I avail myself of every opportunity given me in my church and I ensure to carry out this responsibilities with all of my heart without complaining in Jesus name Amen.
